The Village
The Love Croft is situated in the small village of Laide, which is traditional crofting village, and is an ideal base for a holiday in the West Highlands. The local shop is well stocked and is less than a mile away.
The village also boasts the remains of the only medieval church in Wester Ross and a cave that was inhabited in the 18th century. The neighbouring village of Aultbea (3 miles away) offers the choice of 2 pubs a cafe and an alternative shop.

Directions
From then A9 at Tore roundabout north of Inverness, take the A835 to Braemore Junction, 12 miles south of Ullapool. Turn left on the A832 signposted Gairloch / Aultbea / Dundonnell. Laide is 28 miles from Braemore. Click here for detailed zoomable map >
